Following the success of a previous project at Ochsner’s flagship campus in New Orleans, Ochsner selected ENFRA as a trusted partner for the development of its new facility in Baton Rouge. Given the accelerated timeline for opening, the coordination of design and construction for the heavy trades was critical. Through an Energy-as-a-Service structure, ENFRA was able to seamlessly align its design and construction efforts with the broader progress of the facility.
The Ochsner High Grove project was built on a greenfield site situated between a new residential community and Baton Rouge’s busiest highway. Challenging site logistics and weather conditions posed significant risks to the schedule, but the Design-Build team successfully recovered time to meet the facility’s opening in January 2019.
As part of the long-term project commitment, ENFRA is providing an energy savings guarantee. This includes comprehensive operator training, ongoing measurement and verification, and remote support services—ensuring optimized building performance throughout the life of the facility.
