Ochsner Baptist is ENFRA's third Energy-as-a-Service transaction with the Ochsner Health System. Ochsner Health, the largest healthcare system in Louisiana, was the first healthcare entity in the United States to enter into an Energy-as-a-Service agreement when they did so at their flagship campus, Ochsner Jefferson, in 2017.
The $32-million project at Ochsner Baptist addresses necessary electrical infrastructure upgrades on the campus to improve the reliability and redundancy of building systems. Additional upgrades to mechanical equipment and system optimization through retro-commissioning generate an estimated utility savings of $775,000 per year for the hospital.
