Completed in December 2023, this 687,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Tennessee marks a major milestone in sustainable energy production. As a key component of North America’s manufacturing capabilities, the facility plays a central role in localizing production and reducing supply chain risks for the electric vehicle and energy storage industries. Backed by a $220 million capital investment, the project reflects a strong commitment to building a resilient and future-ready manufacturing base in the United States.
ENFRA provided essential HVAC and plumbing construction services to ensure the facility operates at peak performance. Due to the sensitive nature of lithium-ion battery production, maintaining a highly controlled environment is critical. The facility features a high-capacity HVAC system delivering 12,000 tons of cooling to manage temperature and humidity levels throughout the plant precisely. This system was custom-engineered to meet the client’s complex manufacturing requirements, supporting the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational consistency.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the HVAC and plumbing systems prioritize energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. Advanced technologies integrated into the design not only reduce the facility’s carbon footprint but also lower operational costs—delivering long-term value and enhanced performance.
